Flanges: UNI EN 1092-2 PN 16
Design: EN 1074
Face to face length: EN 558-1 serie 1
Installation: horizontal / vertical, with the flow following the direction of the arrow. When working pressure exceeds below indicated limits, valves must be installed in opposite direction, with pressure over the shutter, and balance disc type compulsory.
APPLICATIONS • Oil & refineries • Water • Steam • Industry
Cast iron regulating globe valves are suitable for the main purpose of flow regulation, in addition to the traditional on-off purpose. The specific design including parabolic disc and a fine pitch stem favours a very sensitive regulation. For diameters higher than DN 150, the globe valve is equipped with balanced disc, to facilitate the opening; in this case the valve has to be mounted in the opposite direction, with pressure over the shutter. Handwheel operated. Graphite rings are easily replaceable for maintenance. These globe valves can be applied for water, steam, not aggressive fluids, temperature and working pressure according to DIN 2401 part 2.
